Founded in 1957 by Jupp Ernst, Willem Sandberg, Curt Schweicher, and Wilhelm Wagenfeld, it has established itself over the years as one of the world's leading magazines in the areas of product, industry, and communication design. In 2021 Autostrada Studios took over the art direction of the magazine and reshaped it for the 21st century.
